CROWN AND BRIDGE LIMITED WARRANTY
Patients frequently ask us, "How long will my crown or bridge last?" At Blue Stone Dental we strive for perfection and satisfaction, which is why we are happy to provide you this warranty, something few other offices offer. The focus in dentistry today is prevention, instead of drilling and filling. You can prevent most of all disease spending 4 minutes in the morning and 4 minutes in the evening brushing and flossing and doing any other special treatments Dr. Corley, Dr. Lauck or your Dental Hygienist has recommended. To further your preventive care we recommend that you have your teeth professionally cleaned and examined for decay, frequent fluoride applications and preventative sealants applied where feasible.
Our warranties will be null and void if you do not maintain your recommended cleaning interval at our office. Faithfully visiting us a minimum of two times per year will provide a winning plan for the health of your teeth and gums.
1. For a period of 5 years from the date of service, we will replace the crown or bridge due to breakage or misfit at no cost to you the patient.*
2. This warranty is null and void if the patient does not maintain the recommended cleaning and exam interval at our office.
* Gold and porcelain crowns are the same for practically all cases except approximately one(1) out of every 100 porcelain crowns chip and need replacement. This should be taken into consideration when choosing a gold or porcelain restoration.
If your porcelain or gold crown develops decay in the first year we will replace it free. However, if decay occurs after the first year you will be charged the current fee for a new crown. Decay develops from plaque left on the teeth on a daily basis. Therefore excellent oral hygiene is paramount to maintain the health and integrity of your crown or bridge.
