Digital X-Rays

Digital radiographs (X-Rays) are a new advancement in dental technology providing you with higher quality pictures and increased safety by exposing patients to much less radiation. Unlike traditional, film-based x-rays, digital x-rays show more detail and can be archived in the Blue Stone Dental system for future reference. Enjoy a more comfortable visit with reduced waiting and faster treatment.

Air Abrasion

No longer do you have to think needles and drills when you think cavities. For certain small cavities, Air Abrasion is your answer. As a relatively new technology in dentistry, Air Abrasion uses a high powered stream of air, with powder, to clean decay from small cavities on the chewing surfaces of back teeth, allowing a white filling to be bonded in place. In the right circumstances it is quick, painless and conserves your tooth structure.

Intra Oral Camera

Quit relying on small mirrors and flashlights. With an intraoral camera, you see exactly what your Blue Stone dentist sees during treatment planning and dental procedures. You have a greater understanding of your oral health and of the treatments Blue Stone Dental prescribes for you. Our dental team uses this technology to discuss treatment options with you and is happy to answer any questions you may have.

Digital Photography

With digital photography, your photographs are available immediately to use in cosmetic imaging or to monitor your progress. Digital images are saved electronically and show more detail than traditional photographs that must be taken off-site for development. Digital photography is overall more efficient, saving you waiting time and providing quicker treatment.

One Visit Crowns and Restorations with CEREC Technology

Tired of the inconvenience of multiple appointments to have a crown, veneer, or bridge placed? With CEREC technology, you can restore your decayed, cracked or chipped tooth in one appointment. Drs. Lauck and Corley make this possible with CEREC technology. CEREC creates full crowns, inlays, onlays, and veneer restorations, made of compressed porcelain, in a matter of minutes. It is for this reason that they are stronger than laboratory restorations, which are layered porcelain. The most beneficial feature of receiving a CEREC restoration is that it is accomplished in one visit. In addition to the benefit of a one visit restoration, you will not need to endure uncomfortable impression material to bite on or temporary to wear. Ask us about using CEREC for your next restoration.

Isolite

Isolite is the revolutionary dental device that is improving dentistry. Why? Dentists, dental assistants and hygienists using Isolite are reducing procedure times by 20-50%, making your visit shorter! Easy-to-insert, and comfortable for the patient, the Isolite mouthpiece can be inserted in only a few seconds and removed even more quickly. Economical, disposable mouthpieces mean no risk of patient cross contamination. Also by lighting the patient's oral cavity from within the mouth, Isolite provides a unique, shadowless illumination solution that benefits both practitioner and patient. New LED technology and the streamlined design of Isolite completely eliminate the need for light box and fiber optic cable.
